So you want to play Farmville? Wonder what the big deal is all about? Feeling envious when you see your friends boasting about their huge mansions in the game and the dizzying myriad of crops across the lands? Don’t fret, you too can be a Farmville guru but you must first begin somewhere – getting familiarized with the controls and layout. This guide is a great start to making it big on Farmville, so let’s begin our journey now!
Farmville’s a great game but it can all feel a little too overwhelming if you are not familiar with the controls and layout. Let’s take a look at the top panel of this screenshot…
Top Panel
Eye Icon – Toggle Image Quality
Running on a slower machine? You can toggle the game quality and reduce or increase it to suit your computer specs
Sound Icon – Toggle Sound
This switches on or off the sound effects, whichever you like
Music Icon – Toggle Music
Listening to your favorite MP3 in the background? Switch off the music and you can play Farmville to the tune of the latest Green Day songs! Rock on!
Farmville Cash
This is where you can see the remaining Farmville or FV Cash you have in your coffers. Personally I think this should be clickable whereby players can add FV Cash with a single click of their mouse.
FV Experience Meter
Want to keep track of your experience? Hover your mouse over this bar and see how many experiences you need until you reach the next level.
Sign Post
You can place a sign post with a custom message anywhere you want on your farm. Also useful when you leave this on your friends’ farms to let them know that you’ve fertilized their crops!
